this book had me squealing and laughing and crying from page one. I’m planning on majoring in art history so finally reading about a character who also shares a passion for art and history and just historic stuff in general made me so so sooo happy. christian is a dream man like so charismatic and sweet. I love them together.

what brought my rating up so high was definitely the twist on the classic romance genre. we are all used to the classic slowish burn, couple has some happy moments, conflict, breakup, makeup, the end. however, that’s not at all how it went in this book. it kept me on my toes and I LOVED it. I took of .25 bc of the “insta love” trope, bc while they had been talking over the phone, there wasn’t any awkwardness when they first met in person just very insta lovey? anyways, found family, royalty, COMMUNICATION, he calls her nicknames (yes, love is one of them) I’M OBSESSED
