Landgirls and Their Impact by Ann Krame
3.0
I'm unclear why this book exists. I don't think it's doing anything that They Fought in the Fields didn't do at greater length and in more depth. Though this author gets points for less Eau de Daily Mail, I guess. Anyway, if you want an intro to the Women's Land Army, this one is fine. I wish that instead of an overview, Krame had focused on individual women and their stories.
