This is the first book of the Torn Omega duet, which is part of the Collapse of the Premium Designation series. There are spicy scenes, as well as numerous very dark elements to this story so please read the trigger warnings. I received an advance review copy and my thoughts are my own.

The Lovely: I loved the characters in this story, especially Amaya (FMC) and Vincent (one of the MMCs). Their relationship is so sweet - he seems to understand her better than anyone else, even though he’s known her the least amount of time. I like how he pushes her to make her own decisions but also supports her when she struggles to do so.
The Mundane: The pacing of this story felt unnaturally slow to me. I think part of this was due to the amount of flashbacks that occur. While I liked the time spent with the characters it was slow enough that I felt it was noticeable/distracting.
Recommendation: This book is heavy and emotional as the FMC feels alone and is struggling to adapt to life post-academy. I was expecting a cliffhanger, but not how the cliffhanger came about. This was full of tension and I’m absolutely anxious as to how this situation, as well as that of the pack, will be resolved. The second book of the duet is expected to be released in March of 2025.
