The Road Trip Survival Guide: Tips and Tricks for Planning Routes, Packing Up, and Preparing for Any Unexpected Encounter Along the Way by Rob Taylor

5.0

There is not much out there that I enjoy more than a road trip. Just love them! The Road Trip Survival Guide is a must-read book when planning your next trip. This is such a well organized, well thought out, and comprehensive guide to road trips! Whether you are planning a trip with kids, a partner, or solo...author Rob Taylor has you covered!

The Road Trip Survival Guide is organized into 5 chapters:
1) Planning -researching for a trip, making a calendar, themed trips etc...
2) Packing- great simple packing list, how to stay organized etc
3) Road Trip Food- picnics, snack ideas, meals, recipes etc
4)Safety- emergency kits, weather, night driving etc
5) Itineraries- great ideas for itineraries in USA, Canada, and Mexico!

I love all of the personal experience Rob brings to the book. Reading about his past trips and experiences with his kids adds such a family friendly vibe to the book. I was also thrilled to read about all of the theme based trip ideas...if you need me I will be planning my next trip around lighthouses and food trucks!
This is just a phenomenal book...from how to pack, what to pack, how to stay safe, recipes for snack mix (yum), and great places to see...everything is right here. Loved it!

Huge thank you to Rob Taylor for sending me an advanced copy for review. Thoroughly enjoyed everything and I know this will be a book we turn to again and again!!
