I originally started this novel sometime in 2022 but I was in a reading slump then & never got around to actually finishing the book. I’m so glad I revisited this book & gave it the fair chance it deserved. This story was so fast paced & intriguing it kept me wanting more chapter by chapter! I flew through this book because it did such a great job at keeping me on my toes! I’ve only read one other book by Peter Swanson but that book is wholeheartedly loved by me and im so happy that I can say the same for this one! The writing style was so immersive, it’s definitely one of my favorite things about this book. Another favorite thing about The Kind Worth Killing is 100% Lily! Her character is such an alluring one to follow & I genuinely found myself rooting for her at times which is crazy given the circumstances! And man that ending??? Why do that to me!!!
