the whole book has taken me a week to finish as i NEEDED to savor everything and allow myself to really digest the plot. i was so invested in the storyline, this was so beautiful i could cry!!!!

the magic system was undeniably unique, the world-building was immaculate, the characters were actually relevant to the success of this story! i have no other words to explain how wonderfully and intricately stunning this book was omg

the book wasn't boring AT ALL it has enough twists and turns that would keep you at bay and not reel away from it, THE REVEALS WERE HEART-ACHINGLY GOOD i tried to breathe continuously throughout the story and it says a lot as to how the tension and scheming from everyone had me on edge AAAAAAAH
