A Thousand Boy Kisses by Tillie Cole

5.0

I. Am. A. Mess. I am not okay. Jesus christ. Not even 70 pages in and I had already started bawling like a baby. A Thousand Boy Kisses is a beautifully written masterpiece that will shatter your heart into a million pieces. A complete tear jerker that will not leave a single a dry eyed reader once this story is over.
I kid you not, but I felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest as I read each word in this book. I had half a mind to stop reading it because it was too much for me. But I'm glad I didn't, otherwise I wouldn't have known the beautiful ending to this Poppy and Rune's love story.
I really believe that it takes an enormous amount of good luck and fate to find your soulmate at such a young age. Someone that loves you just as hard as you love them. Someone who is your oxygen, your everything, but at the same time, manages to take your breath away no matter how many times you look at them. That's Poppy Litchfield and my personal fav Norwegian bad boy, Rune Kristiansen for you.
I am still currently trying to recover from the effects that this book had on me.
I would highly highly recommend everybody to read A Thousand Boy Kisses - even if it may not be the spiciest book you've ever read, I can assure you that it will be one of the most beautiful books that you'll read. Warning tho..make sure that you're at least a lil bit mentally and emotionally stable before you dive into Poppy and Rune's story :))
