“You make me want to embrace every part of myself”
I adored this book. It felt like a cosy mystery with magic. I loved the vibes. Nature, earth, cosy, whimsical, mysterious and queer. It was a forced proximity and second chance romance between two girls who fell in love at thirteen.
There was a mystery that I genuinely enjoyed. I liked how Sage fought to save her families business. I enjoyed Sage and Ximena having to team up to find out who broke into and stole from their store. I liked how they had a coven in this story and how they were mostly women.
Sage and Ximenas romance was so sweet and I think lots of queer teens will love this story. 4.5 stars
