Dix by Emmy Sanders

4.0

Despite being the first book in the series, I read this one last. However, that was a mistake because it was sooo cute. I love Dix and Niko. Dix is such a grump, but inside he's a softie. Niko is charming and sweet. I love his big family and how open and welcoming they are. The slow burn was real for this book, but it made it that much more sweet when they finally got together. I loved the unique position they were in of playing boyfriends while falling for each other. Their scenes were so sweet. I also loved when Dix showed his sweet, soft side. And his concern that he's boring because he likes routine is so real to me. I love that Niko loved that about him. I also enjoyed seeing the rest of the crew and setting up Mal for his book. It was nice to see Dix's softer side around Alex and Mal.

Notes: 3/5 spice levels, sex work, porn stars, enemies to lovers, grumpy/sunshine, nickname in a foreign language, coworkers, slow burn, fake boyfriends
