“Looking at her, I realize I’m not surviving anymore. I’m dancing, and laughing, and living.”
I loved everything about this wonderfully queer YA novel, and I loved Yami, and Bo, and Cesar! They are so dear to me, and their story made me both smile and cry. It’s a story about being your true self, about being there for each other, and it is a story with so much heart 🥰
This book is for you, if you like:
💫 Queer friendships
💫 Complex family dynamics
💫 Sapphic love
💫 Emotional stories
💫 Close sibling relationships
TW: Homophobia, racism, suicide attempt, outing, religious bigotry.
