Schwab is one of my favorite authors and I absolutely love the darker shade of magic trilogy. I was very apprehensive of this (book 4) because I didn’t want it to be ruined. I did enjoy the book but also kind of wish she left it alone. There was not enough Kell in this book for me. I did like the new character Tes but the other new ones felt flat. I’ll read anything she writes so will continue and pray to the writing gods book five is better.
