This book truly had everything: lesbians, deep sea exploration, cryptids!!! I’m just a little bummed at the pacing overall. When we finally get to the action, there’s a severe lack of urgency among the characters that’s really distracting. Not only is it unrealistic, but the stops and starts in the action are annoying. BUT BUT BUT besides that, this was a fun journey and I liked so many of the characters!!
