I loved this book, it was a wonderful melding of science fiction and fantasy . Some of the language choices did make it hard to follow in places, but overall it was beautifully written and the descriptions were evocative. I especially liked the representation throughout the book, and that there was no explanation, it was a much a part of the book as the characters and plot. Very much looking forward to reading the second book in the series.
