probably more like 4.5 stars
-I liked it but not much more than passenger
-I was kind of disappointed because it took 400 PAGES FOR ETTA AND NIC TO BE IN A SCENE TOGETHER AND ETTA DIDN'T EVEN TRY TO SAY HELLO. I get the "gotta be secretive shit" but seriously? YOU CAN GET AROUND GRANDDADDY IF YOU REALLY WANT!
-I LOVED. no, ADORED the father daughter relationship that developed between Etta and Henry (get it, Henrietta)
-when he said he was Etta's father i laughed and thought: "wow. if rose is gonna fall in love and get pregnant, then it's gonna be with the leader of a time traveler group"
-Henry was so sweet and protective. I'm so glad he gets to spend time with Etta 'cause he just found her and then they got separated AGAIN.
-Sophia's character development was great. she was so sassy and feministic. I LOVED IT!
-she and Ming Lin definitely are a thing, and half married already. you cannot convince me otherwise.
-I liked the Julian we saw, but the stories about him were so different from the one Etta saw. coincidence or learning from his mistakes????
-that scene with his nan I TEARED UP.
-I teared up at the end when Rose almost died and Etta was struggling and Nic broke the thingy and send everyone to their time period. it hurt. A. L O T.
-that last scene though, with Etta playing and her parents saw her and SO DID NIC #tears #sobeautiful
-the last LAST scene between little rose and Etta (I think?) it was interesting placed, but I liked it...?
-Etta and Nic are cannon and they're getting their happiness in the 21st century (I hope)
-Cyrus Ironwood acted so much kinder to Nic when he decided to be heir....it was borderline creepy
-I love the Etta x Julian friendship
-I love the Sophia x Nic friendship
