Bobcat and Other Stories by Rebecca Lee

4.0

Rebecca Lee is such a talented writer and her short stories are practically perfectly crafted, from the pacing to dialogue to plotting to word choice and integration of metaphors. It's tempting to plow through this collection in one or two sittings because the end of each story leaves you wanting more. But I think it's better to space them out so you can appreciate each one independently, as they were originally written, without being distracted noticing the repeating themes and motifs from one story to another.
