Addicted After All by Krista Ritchie, Becca Ritchie

5.0

So this was a reread and I'm happy to say (only like 10 months after I read it for the first time) that I still love these books. The whole Addicted/Calloway series is just comforting for me and in this stressful time, it's nice to be able to disappear into the lives of these characters. That being said, this book also made me cry at times – with happiness and with sadness. I think the conversations between Lo and Connor made me really emotional and I love love love their friendship. It was weird to think this was the last Addicted book because I know I still have like 3 books left (4 if you include the Garrison and Willow duology – who get introduced in this book which was so nice!) but at the same time it seemed like a natural ending: Lily and Lo are happy, they've come so far with their addictions and learning to heal and now they've started a family. But there's still so much to go, which we see in the next books. This does feel like the end of something, and although I know that there are more books to reread, this still feels like the end before the end. And I'm so scared, I don't know if I can go through the end of SKOP again.
Also: THE WEDDING SCENE – so good, so lovely, they've come so far.
