Poirot Investigates by Agatha Christie
3.0
I didn't love Poirot in the short story format, it was still a quick and entertaining enough read, but I like his full-length novels better.
It felt like the formula for the stories (or most of them) was the same, someone told/showed Poirot the case and he either immediately knew the solution to the mystery or did a bit of fact-checking off the page and then explained the solution to Hastings and in consequence to the reader as well. There wasn't much chance to figure out the truth because of how little information was given.
