Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner

medium-paced

5.0

I don’t think anything I could say could relay the devastating amount of emotions that hit me way more than I think anything I’ve ever read before. I should’ve went slower when reading it than I did just because the the way she writes about her grief connects to something larger always that makes it feel like both aimed singularly and also just like an all encompassing things and it was so much. Already knew from her music that her writing was amazing, but this novel with its descriptions of food and the little connections to different memories, people, and feelings that she makes are indescribable and yet she still describes them.
