This was my 22nd book finished in 2025.
Living in my canal boat on the Kennet And Avon Canal, I wanted to find out a bit more about it. This book provided interesting photos of the canal throughout it's long history, including some of its restoration.
Although no great details have been given about it's history and restoration, a small introduction provided enough context.
It was a great little book, but a map would have been so useful. I used my K&A map I keep on my boat, but not every reader has one of these! It would have been great to pinpoint exactly on the map where these photos were taken, without guesswork or my own research.
Not every photo had a date, so that would have been thorough to provide.
