An interesting take on my ravorite Watchmen character, although it sounds more like a fan fiction than a definite history about him. Of course, it is not written by Moore, which I think is the point of contemption: trying to expand a comic book universe that is almost complete by itself.

Crimson corsair is a try to emulate the tales of the Black Freighter, but it looked more like the pulp take on the type of story. It's fun, but doesn't live to the original.

Overall, a nice "what if" but very far from the quality of the source material.
