World Travel: An Irreverent Guide by Anthony Bourdain, Laurie Woolever

2.0

I wouldn't recommend this book as there is nothing new here.

The book itself was not written by Anthony Bourdain, which the author is very honest about throughout. Tony was, however, involved in the planning of the book.

The book itself is structured like a 'best of' or clip show in written form. It's full of quotes from Tony that come from his many shows/essays but not much original content made explicitly for the book came from Tony himself.

Understanding that Tony is no longer with us, I felt the book was a reasonable enough effort but I think I would have enjoyed my time watching the many shows he recorded over the years instead. (which I'm doing right now :) )
