There is only one word to describe this book: MASTERPIECE!!!!
This is absolutley going to be one of my all time favorites! It is absolutely brilliant!
The book is made in the form of notes and letters passed between the natives of Nollopton and Nollopville. As they loose letters from the alphabet from their precious statue, the letters also disappear from the notes and letters.
It is filled with humour, sarcasm, and despair as the pople try to communicate with one another whilst losing their language. The island goes from a calm utopia to a totalitarian state.
