Third time reading this and I loved it just as much! It's so hard to explain why this book means so much to me and why I love it so much. I think it just feels so authentic that it's a whole other experience reading it. It's authentic to orgional fairytales, it's equally authentic to both the orgional Beauty and the Beast and the Disney movie. While it has its own twists and original takes it still holds onto that authenticity. I also connect so wildly with Yeva. Having a good life, and knowing I should be content but always, always wanting more and wanting something different. She's an incredibly relatable character for me.

It definitely is a slower pace book but to me that adds to the experience of the story. This book is calming and peaceful to me. It's so, so beautifully written and I know it's one I'm going to read again, and again. I highly, highly recommend Hunted if you're a big fan of fairytales and or the Beauty and the Beast story.
