Gah mixed feelings about this dumb series because these books are perfectly enjoyable and the romances are pretty decent, AND YET Westcliff here has now proven himself even more worthy of being canceled and becoming a registered sex offender than Simon was, and we already know going into the third book that Evie's love interest will be St. Vincent, the rake who drugged, abducted, and threatened Lillian...... what even are the 1800s, who are these men, why do I keep reading these ༎ຶ⁠‿⁠༎ຶ
