Oh my God was this not the longest book in the entire world? I think about halfway through I stopped being invested, which is not typical for me reading Ruby Dixon books. She is easily one of my favorite authors. I really liked Bethiah in prior books as a side character but for some reason, she fell really flat in her own story. I liked Jamef, but Dora was whiny, co-dependent and was just like, “bUt i’M a CLoNe!” the whole time.
