Fearless Bond by Roe Horvat

4.5 stars. I love the fact that Roe Horvat is releasing a new series. This was a really great stars. It probably is more of a 4 stars but I have to give to round it up higher because of how much I enjoyed it.
The story is about Calvin, a human omega that is lost in the snow after his abusive ex boyfriend threw him out of his car. He doesn't have a lot of options, and is about to collapse, until a bear appers in front on him, and later is saved by an alpha who brings him into his place. The alpha's name is Barclay, who's actually a shifter and was the same bear that saw him before. Calvin finds himelf staying with him, but the danger comes back once his ex starts looking for him in the town, and his father doesn't agree with his decission of staying away.
This was really fun and comforting. Roe Horvat always brings great erotica in their omegaverse, and they didn't disappoint this time, having the typical but enjoyable elements of knotting, heat sex and mpreg. I'm still trying to figure out the magic they put into their works, because somehow I always end up loving them despite many of them having a fast development between the couple. In this case, it was hot, and it had everything I really liked, such as the size different, the pregnant sex and the desperation during the act.
I also came to love both characters, especially Calvin. He's very resiliant and adorable, and I found it heartwarming that Barclay helped him through everything he could, and protected him when he needed it. They have chemistry and match each other well. I also appreciated the discussion about anxiety, while it's clearly not meant to be the focus of the book, it does play importance and it isn't brushed off. The friend group was nice as well, I'm especially interested in Laurie, I'm hoping the next book in the series is about him, who wouldn't want to read about a famous, fierce and fun omega?
Overall, it was a really nice read. Their works are very easy to get into, and I devoured this book in hours, shows how much engaged I was. I'm looking forward for more about this universe.
