I just finished reading Sixteen Scandals. I picked this little treasure at my local @dollartree last week and started reading it between two other reads. I quite enjoyed it. It is a sweet young adult regency novel with a naive, but strong heroine who finds herself in a very bad situation from her own doing.

Sophie Jordan created an entertaining story following all the classic themes of a Regency romance. Primrose Ainsworth is finally turning sixteen ! Like her sisters before her, it is a great day as she is going to be introduced to society and maybe find a future husband. Except, it is what she thinks, as her mother has other plans and prefers ignoring her younger daughter. Therefore, Primrose decides to take the matter in her own hands and escapes to the infamous Vauxhall Gardens for one wild night with the help of her best friend.

Fans of Jane Austin and romance will love this adorable story. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the characters. It was funny, full of unexpected situations and small scandals. It is perfect if you are looking for a fast read. I read while listening to the audiobook. I definitely enjoyed the experience.
