This one wasn't as gripping to me as the first book, but I still did enjoy it. Had to remind myself when this book was written, especially with the casual ableism directed at Tyson. Tyson, by the way, absolutely carried this book and he's definitely my favorite character thus far.

This book focused a little more on the characters in-depth, and it was nice to see a few of the minor characters getting some spotlight. Again, this was entertaining and I was able to read it in one day. It's enjoyable to see the modern spins on mythos, and Percy and his cohort's sort of inserting themselves into myths that are already established.
