Poorly executed plotlines. Main character "The Driver" lacks character development. The entire movement of the storyline is based on short distance travel themes, generally ending in tragic vehicular death, dismemberment, and/or (very reasonable) stints in prison. That said, I read it twice, paid for accompanying study materials, and will subject myself to life-altering examinations based on this fantasy world of roundabouts and priority to the right-rules.
