I liked knowing Christopher's story but I really really wish we had gotten more of Mariposa. More of the lore and history. It felt way too short especially considering the interesting characters we were introduced to and it only makes sense if we get a more extended version later on.

The story is intriguing and hauntingly beautiful despite being simple but my only gripe is the descriptions. How cant the skeleton princess not be able to smile cause of her lack of skin but be able to close her eyes? Maybe it's the grown-up in me that isn't able to fantasize about this properly and I keep thinking of the movie Coco.
