I feel spring is harder to make spooky than other seasons. It’s possible but harder.
This book is significantly less scary than the other two in the series, as it focused more on creature horror and deserted island survival and somehow I think it’s just not as scary… at least to read, I’m sure all of it would be terrifying in real life.
Also, no reference this time… I’m sad now
I love the ghost from this one though, he had such a heartbreaking story.
Overall this one feels more like a middle book and a set up for the series finale rather than a book on its own.
Still good though, can’t wait for the forth one.
I hope it’ll have a haunted summer camp and some campfire ghost stories.
