The adventures of Wesley Jackson by William Saroyan, William Saroyan
5.0
I suppose this is the "sweet, sweet Saroyan" Kerouac talked about. The first part of the book, before the war, reminded me very much of Steinbeck, the second part, during the war, was very Kerouac-like.
A real Masterpiece.
By the way, this is the original 1946 1st US edition, which I found in an old attic in Italy!
