I didn't think I'd be back here reading a Tessa Bailey but this is where buddy reading gets you apparently.
I went in with pretty low expectations after rating The Au Pair Affair 1 star and I think this was probably for the best, as it kinda surprised me that I somewhat had a good time with this book. 
I liked the premise and tropes we were set up with, maybe the insta-love was a bit too much for me, but their relationship dynamic was unlike anything I've read before. I will never be a Tessa Bailey smut fan and that's a-okay with me, it provided good buddy reading material and laughs, so really what more could you ask for?
There was also a plot twist I didn't see coming so props where they are due. For now I won't be picking up the rest of the books in this series or even another Tessa Bailey as there are so many romance writers out there that are for me, but if you are looking for a funny silly time, with smut that will leave your jaw on the floor, give Tessa a try.
