Do you enjoy the complete and utter absence of a plot? Then this one is for you.
This is an omegaverse story and, likely, the first and last one I’ll ever read. The story is about Josie, an omega, (omega wolf? omega coyote? No clue they never shift into anything). Josie’s had it rough and has some serious trauma but she starts her story off strong willed and independent despite it all. That is, until the actual nanosecond she meets her alpha’s (3 to be precise, yes RH). Immediately she becomes a co dependent whiner who cannot be left alone for more than a minute without launching into a power house round of self depreciation. This literally continues for the next 500 pages or so where our dumpster fire of a Josie only talks about how fat she is or about how there is no way her alpha’s actually like her. If the intention here was to empower curvy girls to love themselves, I do not, in fact, feel empowered. I feel worse. The ENTIRE book is these guys worshipping her, catering to every whim, and constantly asking her if she’s ok. News flash: she’s never ok. At one point I felt for the alpha’s, like “Hey guys. Blink twice if you need help.” They proceeded to spend their days giving her snacks, “knotting” her and napping. I mean sounds fun for a novella but not for a 500+ page book.
Two ⭐️’s just for the cute British alpha and the one that was into BDSM.
