This is the first Kate Morton book that I have not finished. She is an incredible writer and storyteller, but I keep waiting for this story to begin. There were some bits that really captured my attention, but they were few and far between. For all the effort, I could not emotionally invested myself in these characters, their relationships, or their histories.
