The Venus Fix by M.J. Rose

3.0

I'm conflicted on this 3rd book about Dr. Morgan Snow, Sex Therapist. I think I'd really give it 2.5 stars. By this point, I'm really tired of hearing about how awesome Morgan's sense of smell is (If I have to read about Noah's rosemary/mint cologne or that she's popped another peppermint to ward off scents, I'm going to scream!); I'm really tired of Nina's overbearing "listen to me because I'm always right" attitude; I think Dulcie needs a good spanking and told that "no is no" and to stop being a spoiled brat; and, Noah needs to stop whining about how Morgan feels and acts towards him. I'd actually like to get to know more about Detective Perez, Officer Butler, and Blythe (although she was kind of needy at points). I knew the wife wasn't the killer the minute the scene with her in "Bob's" study happened. Nice try. I knew Blythe would end up being one of the victims as soon as she was introduced. I didn't totally guess the real murderer until over halfway through but I had a couple of good ideas. I did like the storyline of WHY the killer was doing it and the plight of Simone and Amanda in the first place.
