The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress by Robert A. Heinlein

5.0

This is a wonderful book. Some of the tech used and described in the story doesn't hold up but that's a given with older Sci-fi stories. The narrator wasn't a native English speaker, he threw some Russian words here and there and his English was a bit broken which added a nice flavor imo. Sometimes the gender roles have been a bit "old fashioned", but it's still on the more progressive side since women were treated with nothing but respect and loonies had no problem with any race whatsoever.

I loved most characters in the book, loved Mike's jokes, prof's nonchalant wisdom and Wyoh's personality. She's probably my next fictional crush and I'll dedicate my life to have a line marriage that's founded on respect and love for the family.

Ps: if starting a revolution is on your bucket list, this is a must read.
