The Inconvenient Indian: A Curious Account of Native People in North America by Thomas King

4.0

Thomas King takes a deep historical drive into the lived experiences of Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island and offers interesting insights on how Indigenous-settler relations can be improved going into the future. It’s a heavy book full with loads of information but King’s ironic, snarky, and humorous way of writing makes it an enjoyable read.
