Kissing Her by Alexa Riley

5.0

I've been on the roll for Alexa Riley books this month but this was the first one I felt compelled to actually review. Kissing her is ugly duckling story and I just loved it!

This book is a story about Bee. She's considered ugly and unimportant compared to her sister, Melina who seems to hate her. Bee tried to understand her but it's not only Melina who made her life difficult. Her parents were strict, overbearing and favorited Melina.

Ragnar isn't a good man but Bee becomes his world the moment he sees her. There actually isn't much told about his back story but he grew up alone.

Ragnar and Bee are opposites. He's a bad guy and she's a good girl but he saves her from her sheltered world and breaks her free, just like she wanted. I loved how he showed her that she's not unlovable and deserves everything she wants.

All in all I just love this ugly duckling story. I can relate to live under a sister's shadow but Melina was just another level of awful sister. Kissing Her is a quick and steamy romance I totally recommend if you want something short to read.
