Gone Tonight started off strong for me, and I found myself invested from the get-go, not wanting to put it down.  While it did keep my interest and I did want to see how everything would tie up in the end, I must confess I found it getting a little overly dramatic and unbelievable the further I got into it. Did I still enjoy this read?  Yes.  It certainly wasn't my favorite from this author, but I'm still a Pekkenan fan and look forward to reading any future releases she has.  ⁣
