This was a fucking JOURNEY. I said Haunting Adeline wasn't for the faint of heart, but wow this one even more so.

This was so emotional and captivating. I feel like a lot of books with a harrowing storyline wrap up the situation pretty quickly to have a happier book. However, Hunting Adeline is tough and emotional and heavy for about 50% of the book. I appreciate that it was emotional and raw, and that Addie's trauma persisted as the book went along. It didn't downplay actual human trauma and have it go away once she was saved.

I'm obsessed with Addie and Zade and their relationship. Zade is so supportive and so dedicated to helping Addie and what she needs.
