The Goddess Inheritance by Aimée Carter
4.0
4.5 stars - this is a series review
This series was nice. The female protagonist wasn't that stupid, but she was a little ignorant about following orders. But, she did whatever she believed in and followed through. The other characters also developed over the three books and I felt close to them.
The only person I really hated was Walter, until the last hundred pages of the last book.
"...a man can feel things he does not express, and that lack of expression does not deplete that love." page 272 - The Goddess Inheritance
I read that sentence three times, and almost cried right then and there. When I grew up, my father was all about work, and I felt he didn't love me. But, nowadays, he will call every couple days, and we have been growing closer. A lot of men don't express their feelings, and I get that now.
But, overall, this is an amazing series.
