“As the Fallen Rise” by Sadie Hewitt is about Greer, an anthropologist, who finds out she has unexpected magic. As she struggles to find the answers to her magic, her family, and her future she needs to find out who her true friends are and who are her enemies.

I loved the book. I was hoping for Greer and Cian the whole time. Cian is a perfect bad guy that may not be a bad guy? I cannot wait to read more of the series and the characters. 5 out of 5 stars.
