Unfortunately I did not enjoy this one as much as the first two books.
The first half was excellent but it went somewhere I wasn't expecting in the second half and I didn't like that. The first half dealt with Pip's PTSD quite well and I was intrigued by the new case, although I figured it out quite quickly. However, I really struggled to get through second half of the book, and I was completely taken out of the story and characters. My enjoyment was gone and I just wanted it to be finished.
I still really recommend AGGGTM but wish I'd known about the controversial ending for AGAD before I started - I'm not sure I'd have picked up the trilogy though which is a shame as I loved the first two books!
