this is a lot better than the one of glass and crown of midnight in my opinion. i struggled to get through the first 2 books in this series but was told that the 3rd will get me invested so i kept on with it. i fully agree.
this book shows a lot of growth for celaena and also introduces new characters and plot points for her to explore. seeing her grow as more than just a sassy assassin girl was enjoyable. her growth made me excited that i own the next book in the series so i can start reading immediately.
i am also kinda pumped to see rowan, aedion, chaol, ren, and dorian progress in their stories further. rowan is a good character to clash with celaena and help her get through some of her pitfalls and anxieties.
