The Twist of a Knife by Anthony Horowitz

4.0

I was sucked into this one from the beginning. If life hadn’t been so life-y, I probably would’ve finished it in a sitting or two.

The more Horowitz writes in this series, the more fleshed out Hawthorne and semi-fictional Horowitz and their relationship become, and I think that’s a large part of why this is my favorite of the four. Well. That and the plot.

As always, likable characters, an interesting and rather unique premise, and a slow gathering and revealing of information that keeps you hooked and invested until the very end. I hope there’s a 5th book in the works!
