The Best of Youngblood by Jorge Aruta, Letty Jimenez-Magsanoc, Ma. Ceres P. Doyo

5.0

A compilation of thoughts written by the twentysomethings when i was only 4-6 years old, this book reminded me of beautiful memories from my childhood. It made me reminisce of eraserheads, telebabads, and two peso fares, among others. It also made me see that some, if not all, of the issues we face today in our country has also been our plight more than fifteen years ago. I may be wrong but i do believe that these young (at the time) contributors have made something of themselves today. One was even a senatorial candidate just last election. I found this book thoroughly enjoyable because the writers have so eloquently described life from their different points of view at different stages in their lives. A must read for the youth today and generation nexts.
