I wanted to like this one more than I did. I think I expected a clear arc for the entire book rather than such distinct vignettes. Each story was so thematically similar that it started to feel like I was listening to the same essay over and over again. I wish there had either been a stronger commitment to progress ideas through the book or clearer differentiation between the essays. Would probably be good if you listen to it like a podcast where each chapter is an episode.
