The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis
5.0
It was on one winter's morning, where the sun shone bright but did not lift the ever-present chill. A morning where the snow was light, floating on a breeze a creating a mesmerizing kaleidescape of. It was while reveling in the mystical wonder of winter that I remembered the Fantastical nature of another winter, one that lasted for several years.
It was snowing, the snow was pretty and I was reminded of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. The movie is a childhood favorite of mine, but I realized I hadn't read the book in many years. And on a whim, decided to reread this classic.
I think I forget how whimsical Narnia is. It captures that child like wonder like nothing else. It is, at it's core, Fantastical. I really love this book, and I can't wait to read it with my child once they are old enough.
