I really truly enjoyed this book. I’m not usually one for the whole infidelity trope, but this was really well done. The complexity of these characters and they struggle to navigate their friendship while sleeping together while having feelings and or developing feelings for each other was really well done. I think the author did a great job developing that relationship. I had a great time meeting all the different characters within the book. As someone who works in the OB/GYN field with midwives and I work with social workers a program like this would be unbelievably helpful in the area where I am from.

The struggle and the guilt that Cora went through while trying to flush out her feelings and her relationship with Alec was very well done. The author did a great job depicting Alec as a gaslighting manipulative asshole, who excelled at mental abuse.

I would really really really like a book two on these characters!!
